Much faster and more effective than chisels, chains or files and requires only a few inches clearance around the pipe. Reed produces a line of competitively-priced, heavy-duty power transmission belting pipe descalers (DS12B, DS36B). Handles and scrapers for the belt descaler line are blackened for good rust protection. Benefits from belt descalers include lighter weight than chain descalers, plus much longer length to ease back strain. High profile scrapers on the belt descalers don.t get clogged with dirt. Reed-style roller handles allow greater comfort in use. Also, belts with attached scrapers are available as replacements. These replacement belts also fit WheelerŽ belt descaler handles.
